Career Services

Our high graduate employment rate is the result of the support of the Career Services Division, on-the-job internships, and our strong network of employer connections.

At Berkeley College, you'll benefit from our full-service Career Services Division that includes more than 20 job counselors who specialize in each major field of study. You'll be assigned a counselor who will actively pursue job opportunities that compliment your interests in the areas surrounding our campuses.

Your career counselor is assigned to you in the first quarter and will help you prepare your resume and hone your job interviewing strategies. At Berkeley we host career fairs and on-campus employer presentations on a regular basis. Career specialists work with you on an individual basis to obtain internships and full-time positions that are suited to your individual interests and abilities. Interviews are scheduled in a variety of fields.

Internships

To encourage a greater understanding of the workplace and make you more attractive to employers, each degree program includes an internship requirement that provides you with work experience related directly to your chosen field of study.

A wide range of employers such as Bayer, Home Box Office (HBO), Prudential Securities, E-Trade, American Express, Hilton Hotels, IBM, CNN, Saks Fifth Avenue, Salomon Smith Barney Inc., and The Bank of New York look to Berkeley College for well-prepared job candidates.
